I am delighted to confirm that we have received a large number of excellent individual paper and panel proposals for the conference. A panel on torture in post-Franco Spain with prominent specialists in the fields of social sciences, art and modern history has been confirmed, as well as a panel on post-conflict poetics in the Basque Country.

The preliminary programme will be announced soon.

We are now extending the call for submissions in all of the disciplinary themes to fill a few remaining slots. In particular, we encourage proposals on gender approaches and (para-)colonial imaginaries in contemporary Iberian cultures. Proposals for papers in English or Spanish are welcome.

The call for submissions has been extended until 31/8/17.
